SPECIALIST SMOKING CESSATION SERVICE (MENTAL HEALTH) Some people with mental health problems find it difficult to access and engage in mainstream Smoking Cessation support groups and are less likely to request one-to-one support, being unaware that it is available via mainstream services. For people with severe and/or enduring mental health problems it is possible to access Specialist Smoking Cessation support provided by a mental health practitioner by using the referral form , or making a telephone or email referral. One-to-one and group support is available within this specialist service. More information.... Give It Up for Baby – Tayside Are you pregnant? Do you smoke? Give you and your baby the best start possible by stopping smoking. Give It Up for Baby is an incentive scheme to give you a hand with buying your food and groceries up to £50 per month. Throughout Tayside, community groups, stop smoking classes and one to one support is available from GPs and Pharmacies. Scotland's Smoking Ban
New legislation came into force on March 26, 2006 which introduced a ban on smoking in enclosed public places.
Official guidance and associated signage is now available on how companies and organisations can comply with the new law.
